Udaipur
INTRODUCTION
Lake Pichola reflects the desert sun and Udaipur sits within a valley surrounded by the Aravalli Hills. Udaipur is much more than just a Venice of the East. The City Palace by the lake and the Monsoon Palace perched on a hill peak are just two attractions that make this one of the most romantic cities in India. As you wander into the old city, an otherworldly experience awaits you in the form of maze-like streets and open-aired rooftops. The ancient city wall may be crumbling but it still manages to evoke a feeling of past glory.
Udaipur is the perfect destination if you’re interested in the arts and craft of Rajasthan. Moreover, the city is blessed with a beautiful countryside of tiny hamlets and soft peaks.
