Patwon Ki Haveli

When it’s about a Rajasthan tour, you simply cannot miss out the captivating forts and palaces, and a visit to the grand Patwon Ki Haveli in Jaisalmer will justify this! A cluster of five different havelis (old or royal mansions), this grandiose piece of architecture is in fact the first haveli built in the Golden City of Rajasthan.

Also called the ‘Mansion of Brocade Merchants’, Patwon Ki Haveli was once the residence of a wealthy family that dealt in ornamented dresses. At present, this royal building houses several Governmental establishments; the Office of the Archaeological Survey is one among them.
