Amber Palace

Amber Palace or the Amber Fort is among the most stunning and artistic palaces in Rajasthan. A must-visit tourist landmark in Jaipur, this glorious palace-fort is built in pure yellow and pink sand stones, and was constructed during the rule of Raja Man Singh I according to Hindu architecture. Built on a rugged hill, it is divided into four levels, and houses several other mahals and temples.

Diwan-e-Khas, Diwan-e-Aam, Sheesh Mahal (Mirror Palace), and Sukh Niwas are some of the major attractions of Amber Palace. Within the main premises; near the main entrance of the palace, there is a temple dedicated to Sila Devi. The palace is located around 11km from the heart of Jaipur and is a must see destination in the map of Rajasthan tourism.
