Ganga Government Museum
Maharaja Ganga Singh of Bikaner was a patron for arts and crafts. His love and passion for both can be depicted with the establishment of several landmarks that were not only unique, but were also ahead during those times. The Ganga Government Museum in Bikaner, is one such great example of the Maharaja’s creation.
He not only founded the museum, but also spared plenty of his belongings for its development. During his rule, objects were also collected from other corners of the country and were brought to the museum. Among the prized possessions of Ganga Museum, there are terracotta objects, musical instruments of medieval age, royal furniture, house-hold, attires, paintings, armours, coins, and much more.
