Lake Foy Sagar

Overlooking the majestic Aravalli Mountains, Lake Foy Sagar boasts of its pristine and enchanting beauty. Known to be one of the most gorgeous water reservoir in the entire state, this artificial lake was created in 1892 and was named after the main engineer Mr. Foy. Spreading over 14,000,000sq.ft., this stunning lake entices thousands of visitors to its bank and offers them with astounding views of the Aravalli Mountains.

Though it was originally created to fulfil the water scarcity, it has now become a major picnic and tourist spots in Rajasthan. Located on Foy Sagar Road, it is only 8km from the heart of Ajmer and can be easily reached via local bus or taxis.
