Galiakot

A place of historical importance, Galiakot is situated on the banks of the scenic Mahi River; around 58km from Dungarpur. One of the highest visited villages in Rajasthan tour packages, this quaint hamlet is the abode of Dargah of PirFakhuruddin who was a renowned Muslim saint.

The dargah is believed to be more than 900 years old and is built in pure white marble with the teachings of Holy Quran engraved on them. A perfect place to witness communal harmony, peace and brotherhood, this village is also a home to sacred temples like Sheetala Mata Temple and Jain Temple, and an ancient fort.
