Fateh Jung Gumbaj
Rajasthan is a place of wonders; Fateh Jung Gumbaj in Alwar city is one of the wonders that showcases the historical and architectural brilliance of the past. Fateh Jung (also referred as Fateh Jang) was one of the noblest and humblest ministers to serve Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. Fateh Jung Gumbaj or the ‘Tomb of Feteh Jung’ is dedicated to all the noble deeds done by the minister and it also served as an official court for the emperor.
Built in Hindu-Muslim architecture, the tomb has astounding domes that can be seen from distance and is supported by towering minarets that are crafted from pure sandstones. Furthermore, the intricate and much detailed works on the domes, minarets and interior of the tomb makes Fateh Jung Gumbaj a true marvel for the visitors.
