Gaitore Chhatris

Located around 7km from the heart of Jaipur; on the Jaipur-Amer Road, Gaitore Chhatris are the royal tombstones or cenotaphs. The final resting ground of the kings and queens of the Pink city, Gaitore Chhatris are known for their opulent beauty, skilled craftsmanship and detailed Rajasthani carvings.

Each of the chhatris in Gaitore has unique carvings or designs on them; they depict the lifestyle and taste of the entombed Maharaja. Except Maharaja Ishwari Singh, tombstone of all the rulers of Jaipur are included in Gaitore Chhatris.
