ITINERARY DETAIL
Upon your arrival at Jaipur Airport, our representative will greet you and lead you to your hotel. You can complete the check-in procedure and then head out to take a tour of the city.
Your first destination of the day is the City Palace. The City Palace was where the Maharaja reigned from. This palace also includes the famous “Chandra Mahal” and “Mubarak Mahal”, and other buildings which form a part of the palace complex.
Also, right outside the palace are a plethora of local retail shops. The shops offer traditional products to choose from. You can definitely pick up a few things to take back home.
After this tiring day, you can head back to your hotel for dinner and night stay.
Begin day 2 with a healthy breakfast at the hotel and then restart your city tour.
You will start with the Hawa Mahal. The Hawa Mahal or the “Palace Of Winds” is located in the heart of the beautiful Pink City of Jaipur and is one of the most famous tourist attractions and a prominent landmark of the city. It is renowned for its rich cultural and architectural history. This five-storey building in the shape of a crown of Lord Krishna is a must-visit.
Next up is the Amber Fort. The Amber Fort has influences of both Hindu and Muslim architecture. This fort also has the ‘Shila Devi’ Temple and the ‘Ganesh Pol’ which is a gate that leads to the private palaces of the kings. It is located on a hill, so if you are someone who would love a hike, then you are in for some adventure.
The last destination of the day is, Jantar Mantar. The observatory consists of nineteen instruments for measuring time, predicting eclipses etc. In fact, it is the largest observatory all over India. You must check this place out.
Followed by this you can head back to your hotel for a good night’s sleep.
On day 3 you will be taking a road trip to Udaipur. The distance you need to cover is 394.9 kms and it should approximately take you 6 hours 36 minutes.
Upon your arrival, complete the check-in process and then head out for the city tour. The first attraction of the city will be Kumbhalgarh Fort.
Kumbhalgarh Fort is one of the five forts of Rajasthan that is declared as the UNESCO world heritage site. The magnificent fort is situated in the middle of a forest which has been turned into a wildlife sanctuary.
After your visit to this vast fort, you can take a walk through the narrow lanes of Udaipur and enjoy the tranquillity of the city.
Post this, head back to your hotel for the night stay.
You will continue with sightseeing for today, after a delicious breakfast at your hotel. The first destination for today will be Badi Lake.
The lake is known for its amazing view. You will want to sit there, just by the shore, and relax for hours. The calmness of the water and the scenic beauty of the mountains all around you is a rare combination to find.
After relaxing at the lake, you must head to the Sahelion Ki Bari garden. This patterned garden used to be the popular relaxing spot of the royal ladies and the kings to spend time with the queen. The superb architecture of the garden provides a breath-taking view to any observer. The garden is embellished with numerous fountains in its four water pools, chiselled kiosks and marble elephants.
For your last attraction point, you will head to the lavish City Palace. Apart from the beautiful architecture and vast complex of the palace, the highlight is the light and sound show. The show takes place in the extensive courtyard and the fireworks light up the entire city.
You can now head back to your hotel for the overnight stay.
Make sure you have an early breakfast; today you will be heading to Mount Abu. You will be travelling by road and the distance to be covered is 164.1 km. It should take you roughly 3 hours from Udaipur.
After you reach your hotel and are well rested, you can start visiting the attractions of the city. The first place you should visit is Guru Shikhar View Point.
We insist that you carry your cameras along with you. Although the beauty of this viewpoint cannot be captured in your lens, it is worth a try. The height of the peak is 1722 meters from sea level thereby promising a breath-taking view of the Aravalli range and the hill station of Mount Abu.
After visiting this peak, you can make your way back to the hotel.
After your breakfast routine, you will head to the Dilwara Temples.
The temples are known for its extraordinary architecture and marvellous marble stone carvings. In fact, some people also consider it architecturally superior to the Taj Mahal. In fact, the beautiful lush green hills, surrounding the temple give it a very pleasant feeling.
