ITINERARY DETAIL
On your arrival at Udaipur Airport, you will be given a warm welcome by our representative who will escort you to the hotel.
Reach the hotel and freshen up to kickstart the tour of the city of lakes.
Being in the city of lakes it would not be fair to visit any other place other than a lake. So, the first place will be Fateh Sagar Lake. The lake is an enormous artificial water body that is constructed in form of a circle. Boating on this blue water lake is one of the biggest highlights of the tour.
After the boat ride you can visit the Nehru Garden, situated near the lake itself. The garden is full of tress and the cool breeze will make you feel at peace.
End your day by heading back to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Begin day 2 with a healthy breakfast and restart your tour in Udaipur.
Today you will visit the pride of the city, the City Palace. Located peacefully on the banks of Lake Pichola, this majestic palace is the most-visited tourist attraction of Udaipur. It is the largest palace complex in Rajasthan.
Right outside the palace is a large traditional market that offers a variety of products to choose from.
Your next destination of the day will be the Sajjangarh Fort. Its major highlight is the majestic view that it offers from the hill. The palace is also referred at times as Monsoon Palace Udaipur. It is believed that Maharana Sajjan Singh had planned to build a 9-storey observatory at the site, but his dream could not be fulfilled because of his untimely death.
After the amazing Monsoon Palace, head towards the Mansapurna Karni Mata Ropeway ride. The ropeway was built by a business man named Kailash Khandelwal in collaboration with UIT in 2008. The rope-way is located in the heart of the city, so, one can get access to the place easily.
End your day with some mouth-watering dinner at the hotel and a peaceful sleep.
Post your breakfast, it is time to go visit some more attractions in the city.
Head to the Sahelion Ki Bari garden as your first destination of the day. The garden was built for the Maharajas to spent their leisure time with the queen. In fact, there is also a museum in the garden that boasts a huge collection of royal households. It also has a number of stuffed animals that includes cobras.
The next destination on your list is the Kumbhalgarh Fort. The fort is perfectly perched between eleven peaks of the Aravalli Mountains. Though never conquered in battle, it was captured only once by the Mughal army by deceit when they poisoned the water supply of the fort.
To enhance your evening, visit the Ambrai Ghats. The Ghats are a perfect place to view the lit-up Jag Mandir, Lake Palace and Shiv Niwas. In fact, marble boundaries are installed and wide seats for resting are available on the Ghats.
Post this exciting day, head to your hotel for the night.
On day 4, you will travel to Mount Abu from Udaipur. The distance you will cover is 164 kms and it should take you around 3 hours by road.
