ITINERARY DETAIL
When you arrive at the Jaipur Airport, you will be greeted by our representative and be guided to your hotel.
After you check-in and take some rest, you can head out to explore the city.
Your first checkpoint is the City Palace of Jaipur. The palace includes various courtyards, gardens and buildings within its complex itself. The two main palaces in the complex are the Mubarak and Chandra Mahal. But what might fascinate you the most is its architectural brilliance. The structure boasts of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture.
Right outside the palace is an array of traditional shops of which, you can take a tour of.
Post this tiring day you can make your way to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
After your breakfast at the hotel you will be heading out to explore the city further.
Your first destination of the day is the Hawa Mahal. The Mahal is appropriately known as the “Palace of the Winds’. That is because it consists of a total number of 953 windows in the entire complex. Well, taking a peek out of each window sounds like a fun activity.
Next up on your list is the Jantar Mantar Observatory. A trivia about Jantar Mantar is that it is one of the largest observatories of India. Not just that, the instruments at this observatory are made of stone and are very large structures. To ensure complete perfection, the structures were first made out of wood and the measurements were adjusted. Once, things were finalized the construction was replicated.
Your final destination of the day is the Amber Fort. The fort is located uphill and it is quite a climb, but if you are up for an elephant ride then you can just sit back and relax while the elephants help you reach the top. The elephant ride to the fort is one the exciting things about this place, but what we cannot miss is its distinguished architecture within the complex.
To end your day, you will be escorted to your hotel followed by dinner and a night stay.
Have an early breakfast because today you will be travelling to Udaipur by road. The distance to be covered is 394.9 kms and it should take you approximately 6 hours 27 minutes.
Once you have arrived in Udaipur and reached your hotel, you can take some rest and then head out to visit the attractions of the city.
You will start your tour with a boat ride at the Fateh Sagar Lake. The boat ride across the lake will make you fall in love with the city in a jiffy. The mountains surrounding you offer a view to die for. What you must do is stop your boat right in the middle of the lake and just feel the tranquil vibes away from all the hustle bustle of the city life.
After the boat ride, you can savour on some local delicacies near the lake and then visit the local market of Udaipur.
Post this tiring day, you must catch up on some rest to be fresh for day 4.
After your breakfast routine at the hotel, you will be heading out for some sightseeing.
Your first destination for the day is perfectly opposite to your boat ride yesterday. Today we are taking you to adore the city from its top most view point. You are heading to the Mansapurana Karni Mata Ropeway.
This ropeway ride will give you a bird’s eye view of the city that oversees the Pichola Lake, Fateh Sagar Lake, City Palace complex, Sajjangarh fort and even the Aravalli mountains.
After the ropeway ride it’s time to make way to Sahelion Ki Bari. This garden used to be the place for the kings to spend their leisure time. The royal setting of this garden will surely hint towards the fact that this place was built for the Maharajas and Maharanis. The little ponds, beautiful flowers and some amazing architectural marvel makes this place a must-visit.
Before you end your day, you must head towards the City Palace. Usually tourists visit the palace in the morning but we have a good reason to be at the palace just before the sunset. Before the sunset you can go around and take a tour of the vast complex and admire the structure and the artefacts. After the sunsets, the City Palace hosts a light show in their courtyard, which a very few tourists know off. The light show is one of the most thrilling highlights of the palace.
After an adventurous day 2, you can head back to your hotel and take some overnight rest.
To being with day 5 after your breakfast at the hotel, we have planned to visit the Sajjangarh Biological Park.
A fun fact about the park is that, within two months of its inauguration, the park received more than 46,000 visitors in a month. It generated revenue of Rs.14 lakh for the forest department and that in itself tells you how vital it is to visit the park. The park houses a number of wildlife and an electric car, if need be, takes you around the park.
After you have completed the tour of the park, you can head up to the Sajjangarh Fort. The fort is also known as the “Monsoon Palace”. This fort is no less than a castle, perched on top of a distant hill. Originally the fort was an astronomical centre but eventually became the monsoon palace. Situated on a great height, the fort offers a bird eye view of the city.
Just before you end your day, head towards the Ambrai Ghats. The Ghat is where you will only experience peace and immense beauty all around you. The cool cold wind will touch your body, which will make you feel relaxed.
You can now head back to your hotel and catch up on some rest for your departure tomorrow.
Well, they say, all good things come to an end and so has your Jaipur Udaipur holiday package. We hope that we were of great assistance to you and that the next when you make a holiday plan you will definitely think of us again. Thank you and see you soon.
