Salim Singh Ki Haveli
Another grandeur of the past, Salim Singh Ki Haveli in Jaisalmer is a 17th century building that was once the residence of a prominent family in the Golden City. Built in around 1815, this historic piece of architecture was commissioned by Salim Singh, and thus it got its name.
Resembling the form of a peacock, Salim Singh Ki Haveli has its own charm and appeal! While the main entrance of this fortifying establishment is guarded by life-size elephant sculptures, its 38 balconies make it a must visit attraction in Rajasthan or a must to include attraction in all Rajasthan tour packages.
