    ITINERARY DETAIL

    Day 1Arrival at the Jaipur Airport

    When you arrive at Jaipur Airport, you will be given a pleasant welcome by our representative and be accompanied to your hotel.

    After your check-in process and some rest, you can start with the tour of the city. Your first destination in Jaipur will be the City Palace.

    The palace is vast complex that houses many courtyards, gardens, and buildings within its compound. It also houses a museum that has one of the finest collections of its kind. What you must look out for is the royal architecture of the palace; it is a blend of the Mughal and Rajasthani.

    After the tour of the palace, you can head out in the market for some shopping. The market offers traditional Rajasthani outfits, artefacts and decorative jewellery.

    To end your day, you will be escorted to your hotel for dinner and a good night’s sleep.

    Day 2Sightseeing in Jaipur

    You will begin your day with a healthy breakfast at the hotel and then re-start your city tour.

    Today you will be visiting the Hawa Mahal, also known as the “Palace of the Winds”. The name is derived from the enormous structure that consists of a total number of 953 windows. In addition to that, the 5 storey building is outlined in the shape of the crown of Lord Krishna. You must also look out for the beautiful pink and red sandstone architectural design that enhances its appearance.

    Next up is the Amber Fort. The biggest highlight of the fort is its Sheesh Mahal that is decorated with numerous pieces of mirror tiles. Apart from that, the fort presents a fascinating whisk of Hindu and Muslim architecture that makes it an architectural marvel. The intricate wall paintings will also catch your attention.

    Your next and last destination of the day is the Jantar Mantar Observatory. Jantar Mantar means instruments for measuring the harmony of the heavens. It is considered to be one of the largest observatories ever built. A fun fact is that before the observatory was built a rough design was carved out of wood so that when the final structure is built it does not have any flaws in it.

    Once you are done with the final destination for the day you can head back to your hotel for the night.

    Day 3Travel from Jaipur to Udaipur (394.9 km. / 6 hrs. 36 minutes)

    Today you will be travelling from Jaipur to Udaipur after you are done with your breakfast at the hotel. The distance you need to cover is 394.9 kms and it should take you around 6 hours and 36 minutes by road.

    Once you have checked-in, you can head out to explore the city. Your first destination in the city will be the City Palace. The City Palace of Udaipur is the pride of the city. It is said that the architecture of the palace is something to look out for. It is a blend of European, Rajput and Mughal styles. The palace is located on the banks of Lake Pichola; and that gives you a view of the entire lake, from the topmost part of the palace.

    After this tiring day, you can return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

    Day 4Sightseeing in Udaipur

    After a healthy breakfast at the hotel, you can head out in the city for the rest of your tour.

    Today you will be visiting the Fateh Sagar Lake. The first thing you must do at the lake is to take a drive around the huge circumference, which will give you a view of the entire lake. The scenic lake is surrounded by the Aravalli Hills and it is said to be the second largest lake in the city. Do not forget to take a boat ride across the lake. The ride will rejuvenate you and will allow you to take a view of the city being right in the middle of the lake.

    Your next destination will be the Sahelion Ki Bari Garden. Stories say that the garden was built for the kings to spend their leisure time but also a few other stories say that that it was built for the queen and her maids. But apart from the stories, the garden is a must-visit because of its architectural brilliance. Go there for the fountains and ponds and the in house museum.

    Your final destination for the day will be the Kumbhalgarh Fort. The fort is also known as the crowning glory of Rajasthan. Also, the fort has the second largest wall after the Great Wall of China it is now a UNESCO world heritage site. The highlight of the fort is the view of the sunset. You can take a view of the entire city from the top and the sunset will enhance that view for sure.

    You can then return to your hotel for the overnight stay.

    Day 5Travel from Udaipur to Mount Abu (164.1 km. / 3 hours)

    It is time to hit the road again and make your way to Mount Abu. Make sure you have an early breakfast and leave, to cover a distance of 164.1 kms. The entire journey should take you around 3 hours.

    Once you are in Mount Abu you can complete your check-in procedure and then head out to take a tour of the city.

    Your first destination of the day will be Guru Shikhar Viewpoint. Taking your camera along is big advice, because the view from this hilltop is a visual treat. You can enjoy the view of the entire city of Mount Abu from this peak. There is also a temple at the peak that you can visit.

    Post this power-packed day, you can make your way back to the hotel.

    Day 6Sightseeing in Mount Abu

    Follow the breakfast routine and then re-start your sightseeing tour in the city.

    Your first checkpoint is at the Dilwara Temple. The temple showcases phenomenal work of craftsmanship. The elaborate marble stone carvings are remarkable and the biggest highlight of its brilliant architecture. It is said that these huge pieces of marble stones were transported on elephant backs to the city of Mount Abu. Tourists from all over the world come to take a look of this architectural marvel.

    Post this spiritual tour, you can head towards the Dhrudhiya Waterfall. The crystal clear water at the waterfall looks like a stream of milk flowing in front of your eyes. You can also enjoy some rock climbing at this attraction point.

    Your last destination in the city is the gorgeous Nakki Lake. You must take a boat ride at the lake, just before the sunset and once you are in the middle of the lake, the view of the sunset is an unforgettable memory. Go there for its beautiful sunset and you will not regret it.

    Day 7Travel Mount Abu to Jodhpur (262.4 km. / 4 hours)

    Today you will be travelling to Jodhpur from Mount Abu. The travel distance is around 262.4 kms and the journey should take you about 4 hours, by road.

    After you have settled in your hotel and are well rested, you can leave for the city tour. Your first destination for the day will be the Mehrangarh Fort.

    Mehrangarh Fort is a royal structure with a splendid architecture. The diverse history of the fort and the panoramic view you get of the entire city is a perfect blend. In fact, Rudyard Kipling once said, about the fort, “a palace that might have been built by Titans and coloured by the morning sun”. It is a must-visit place if you are in the “Blue City”.

    After the tour of the fort, you must head back to your hotel for dinner and night stay.

    Day 8Sightseeing in Jodhpur

    After your breakfast at the hotel, you can leave for the city tour.

    The first destination in line is the Umaid Bhavan Palace. The irony is that the palace is said to be the youngest palace in all of India and is also the last palace to be built in India before Independence. The interiors of the palace consist of antique and vintage clocks and the outstanding art décor is an added enhancement to its beauty.

    The next destination in the city tour is the Jaswant Thada. The beauty of the place plays such a huge part that it is also known as the Taj Mahal of Jodhpur. Its intricate carvings shine out and enhance its charisma.
