The next city that you will stop by is Jodhpur. A fun fact is that the city is known for the rare breed of horses known as Marwari or Malani. It is also the second largest city in Rajasthan and is known as the “Blue City”.

ITINERARY DETAIL
When you arrive at Jaipur Airport, you will be received by our representative and be guided to your hotel.
Once you reach your hotel and take some rest, you can begin the tour of the city.
The first attraction that you will pay a visit to is the City Palace of Jaipur. The palace is a constructive marvel of Rajasthani, Mughal and even European architecture. The complex is so huge that it includes various courtyards, gardens and buildings within its complex itself. It was once the seat of the king and this is the place from where the kings ruled over the kingdom. The red and pink sandstones, in which it is built adds to the charm of the palace.
Post your expedition of the palace, you can visit the nearby markets and take a look at what Jaipur has in store for you.
Later on, you can head back to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Start day 2 with breakfast provided at the hotel and be ready to head out for your city tour.
Your first destination of the day will be the Hawa Mahal. It is located in the heart of the city, which gives you a look at the busy roads and offers a local vibe. Hawa Mahal, also known as the “Palace of the Winds’ consists of a total number of 953 windows. In fact, the reason it is situated right in the heart of the city is that it was built for the royal women to enjoy street festivals form these numerous windows.
Next up for the day tour is the Jantar Mantar. Firstly, the Jantar Mantar was constructed because Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II was fond of the movement of celestial objects from a very young age. But what you should look out for at Jantar Mantar is the light and sound show. It gives you a brief explanation about the city of Jaipur and why Jantar Mantar was constructed.
Next up on your list for the day is the Amber Fort. The fort was built by Maan, a trusted general of King Akbar. Once you enter the fort you would find a stairway that would take you to the main palace. Another stairway to your right will lead you to the temple of Sila Devi. Visit the temple first before you visit the main palace. The silver doors of the temple are famous for the raised relief works.
To end your day, you will be escorted to your hotel for the night stay.
After an early morning breakfast, you will hit the road for a road trip to Jodhpur. The city is 338.8 km. away from Jaipur and should take you 5 hours 51 minutes to reach your destination.
Once you have completed your check-in procedure and are rested for a while, you can begin with your tour for the day.
The first attraction you will be making your way towards is the Mehrangarh Fort. It is located on a rocky hill that it self stands 120m above Jodhpur’s skyline. Mehrangarh is one of the most magnificent forts in India. It is still run by the Jodhpur royal family and is packed with history and legend.
Later on, you can visit the Jodhpur market, before you head back to your hotel and catch up on some rest.
Start your day with breakfast at the hotel and get into a pair of comfortable clothes if you want to try your hands at Yoga.
Today you will be visiting the historic Mahamandir. The mandir is a structural delight, tall and admirably standing on 84 pillars. Also, if you want to try some yoga then you are the right place because the temple boasts a beautifully designed hall that is used for Yoga classes.
Your next checkpoint in Jodhpur is the Kaylana Lake. It is a perfect place to enjoy a day of leisure or indulge in some good time with family and friends. It is a plus point for bird lovers because you might sport a flock of Siberian Cranes stopping by.
The last destination for the day is the Umaid Bhavan Palace. The museum here has a huge collection of weapons, a banner presented by Queen Victoria and antique clocks providing detailed information about the royal era of Rajasthan.
Today you will be making your way to a new city, Jaisalmer. So, make sure you have an early breakfast and head towards the golden city – 284.1 kms away from Jodhpur and should take you 4 hours 21 minutes by road.
