When you arrive at the Jaipur Airport, you will be given a cordial welcome by our representative and be accompanied to your hotel.

Once you have settled in you can begin your wanderings with the Hawa Mahal. Located in the heart of the city, Hawa Mahal is also known as the “Palace of the Winds”. The mahal gets this name because of the 953 windows that it consists of. In fact, the Hawa Mahal is constructed in the shape of the crown of Lord Krishna and its façade resembles a honeycomb of a beehive. It is built in red and pink sandstone that facilitated royal women to get an eyeful of the street festivals while remaining out of the public view.

Now that you are already in the heart of the city, you can go around the traditional local markets and blend in the colour of the locals.

At night, you can make your way back to the hotel and enjoy your dinner and have a good night’s sleep to be fresh for day 2.

After a heavy breakfast, the best place to be at is the City Palace. This humongous complex will help the digestion while you get to know interesting facts about the palace.

The palace was constructed by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. Like most structures in Jaipur, this palace also reflects the fusion of Mughal and Rajput architecture. To your wonder, this palace complex is spread over a vast area that occupies one-seventh of the old city of Jaipur.

Next up on your list is the Amber Fort. This principal tourist attraction is located on a hill and offers an awe-inspiring view from the top. But what’s even better is the elephant ride that takes you uphill. Once you enter the main courtyard named “Jaleb Chowk”, you will already start feeling the historic vibe the destination claims of. The sprawling complex speaks to you off immense fortifications with unexpected belle and charm.

For your final destination of the day, you will be visiting the Jantar Mantar. The instruments at the Jantar Mantar are made of stone and are very large structures. To ensure complete accuracy the structure was first made out of wood and the measurements were adjusted. Once the dimensions were perfected the construction was replicated in stone to give us the magnum opus Jantar Mantar.

To end your day, head back to the hotel and get in bed for a peaceful sleep.

Start your day with an early breakfast. Today you will be travelling to Jodhpur. The distance to be covered is 335.5 km. and it will take around 5 hours and 54 minutes to reach Jodhpur by road.

Once you have arrived and checked-in to your hotel you can leave to explore the beauty of the city. To kick start your adventure you will head to the Kaylana Lake. This picnic spot is famous for sightseeing and bird watching. The manmade lake spreads over a vast range of 84 square kilometres and acts as the sole source of consumption of water to the city of Jodhpur. Birdwatchers are in for a treat as sedge of Siberian Cranes stopover the lake.

After a tiring day, you can head back to your hotel and savour the delicious dinner and take some rest.

For today your first destination, after a healthy breakfast, will be the historic Mahamandir. This architectural brilliance of Jodhpur stands on 84 pillars and was built in 1812. The pillars depict beautiful work of fresco and carvings that portray yogic postures and intricate motifs. The temple boasts of an enormous hall that is used for Yoga classes. Overall the best part about this temple is its affluent architecture that attracts the tourists.

Next up is the Mehrangarh Fort. This vast fort is one of Jodhpurs’ finest tourist attractions. Perched upon a hill at 400 ft., spread across 5 kilometres, it is located in the heart of the city. There are various places located inside the fortress, which have their separate distinct identities with sinuous Rajasthani carvings and design. The museum inside the fort contains ancient artefacts that come from the Royal family of Rajasthan and the Mughal dynasty culture.

Post this day filled with fun and adventure head back to your hotel for the overnight stay.
